Who we are
Saira and Denny met in Tarifa in 2001 and decided to create their life together in this place so full of light, nature and people from all over the world.
Combining their passions for carpentry (Denny), food (Saira), and their dream for a more sustainable lifestyle, they transformed a small butcher's into a vegetarian in the heart of the old town in 2005.
Inspired by their travels they designed a menu filled with dishes from all over and for all tastes, and only using vegetarian ingredients.
It was so small that at first they only offered take - away food...
To reflect the growing interest in tasty food without meat, we have extended the menu and the restaurant (a little), but it remains an intimate and cosy place.
Chilimosa attracts a varied clientele, from tourists to locals, creating a great atmosphere and often friendships.
Our team is dedicated to satisfying all tastes from vegans to carnivores, cooking homemade food with love!

The atmosphere of the place is magic, staff very welcoming and interior cosy. Food is delicious and freshly prepared. The portions are exactly right for a dinner. I'll be back :)
